Class Description: Weird But True World 2025 Adventure!

Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience, kids! Join us in this exciting class based on National Geographic Kids Weird But True World 2025, where you’ll explore a book bursting with incredible facts, awesome photos, and the weirdest wonders from around the globe! Discover quirky animals, bizarre places, and totally unexpected discoveries that will leave you amazed. Perfect for curious kids who love to laugh, gasp, and learn something new every session. Come along for a fun adventure that’s weird, true, and totally awesome!
Activities Include:
•Weird Animal Sketch Challenge: Unleash your creativity by sketching your favorite quirky animal from the book, adding your own funny twist, and sharing it with the class.
•Bizarre Places Map Quest: Locate strange places on a world map, mark them with sticky notes, and share a fun fact about each one.
•Weird Wonders Trivia Game: Team up for a lively trivia contest with questions from the book, earning points for correct answers.
•Photo Story Creation: Pick an awesome photo from the book and write a short, imaginative story about it, then share your tale with the group.
•Weird Discovery Craft: Design your own “weird discovery” using craft supplies, like a new artifact or species, and present it to the class.
•Nature Sound Scavenger Hunt: Listen for weird nature sounds (inside or outside) inspired by the book, check them off a list, and discuss the strangest ones.
